Buonocore Gelateria in Capri

Great ice cream in newly made cones! Long queue all day long, worth the wait once but maybe not again. But absolutely worth a visit if you like ice cream and have time!

Place to go for gelato on capri. Line could be long but moves fast and they are constantly making cones which are great. Have somebody go inside to get the other stuff togo while you wait in line for gelato.

Every trip to Capri requires at least one stop for a gelato at the Buonocore Gelateria. Even before you arrive, you can smell the sweet perfume of the freshly made waffle cones awaiting you. Creamy, sweet and full of flavour, I only ever have ice cream here when I'm in Capri. Have a taste and you'll understand why. In the afternoon (but not only), expect to wait in quite a line/queue for your ice cream, but rest assured the line moves pretty fast and is worth the wait :)

Best Gelati I've had in Italy or anywhere else in the world for that matter. Always select the fresh waffle cones that are made on site while you wait. Closed on Tuesdays. You can also obtain light meals at a reasonable price.

Their ice creams are soft, creamy and oh-so tasty. What are they made of? Unicorn tears? Dream dusts? Fairy hairs? I don’t care. I could have these wonders on a cone every day. Speaking of cone, you can watch them made fresh cones while waiting for your ice cream.

Amazing creamy ice cream. For people who love the pistachio flavour but have disappointed due to the artificial flavour you get try their , just awesome natural flavour.

Up in Capri town. Delicious, light pastry: we ordered four to go. Didn’t try the gelato because of the long line of waiting patrons. They make their own waffle cones for the gelato.

Bad customer service, all the OLDER ladies have disgusting attitudes but for me is the one with the boy hair cut that works inside the deli are super rude to customers just plain nasty to people for that matter. We been going everyday bc it's across our hotel which I regret bc this has been the 3rd time they had been ugly to me, my friends and other customers inside the deli on several occasions. God forbid you ask them to warm up the food to go which by the way is part of there job!!! The gelato is not even all that the same everywhere u go only thing different is the fresh waffle cone! I really think they hate their jobs or everyone that's NOT Italian!!!

we lined up over 10 minutes when we walk passed this store . they bake the waffle cone infront of you so when we got our icecream the cone was still warm which was amazing. icecream had light flavor which we preferred over heavier full creamy icecream. wasn't a must place to visit but we would recommend. 아이스크림 맛나요 특히 와플콘

It makes sense why this place is so popular. The line was long but moved fast. The cones were being made fresh and were still warm when we got them. And our Gelato was so yummy. I got limone and pistachio which I thoroughly enjoyed. I hope we make it back here some day!

We went here several times during our 4 day visit to Capri, and loved it every time! Most people come for the gelati, which is among the best I've had in Italy so far. The dark chocolate with rum, almonds, and orange in particular is glorious and better than any flavor I've had in America. That includes Dolci Gelati's pistacchio with saffron and candied lemon. The texture is also out of this world: unparalleled lightness and creaminess. But we tried some of their savory food and pastries during our visits, and both were very good. If you're in Capri for an hour only, spend half that time in Buonocore and the other half in da Aldo!!

Don't be intimidated by the line, as it will be gone before you get to decide what flavor would you like to have - and the choice is though, so be prepared. This amazing gelato is served super fresh, in cones made on premise - definitely a must-try when touring Capri on a hot summer day.

A must visit if you are in capri

A must stop if you want gelato or bakery treats on Capri! Prices are fair and service is fast. They also have a coffee bar with a few seats, so you have a dine-in or carry out option. Excellent pistachio and lemon cookies.

Not a huge variety but what they do have is excellent the smell of the cones being made right there is enough to lead you to them!

Great gelato place in Capri! They had many options and also several unique flavours as well. We were stopped by the aromatic and fresh smell of the waffle cones and quickly got into line! The wait was not long since the workers worked really fast. Delicious!

Fantastic gelato. Come to the counter ready to order and know that they don't do samples. Otherwise all the flavors are good so go to where your heart is leaning that day.

Great little store down from the main square. Deliciously fresh baked Italian biscuits. Order a coffee and make your selection of biscuits to taste in the available seating. I did find the coffee slightly strong. Biscuits were the best of ever had. Freshly made waffle cones for your Selection of gelati can be purchased from the street. Italian fresh baked biscuits can be purchased which are price by the kilo. Prices are very reasonable for this top quality.

The smell of their freshly cooked waffle cones is so amazing we followed it through the streets till we found this incredible Gelateria! There line is long but moves very quickly. The gelato is incredible and the fresh cone is still warm when you eat it. Best gelato of my life, would recommend x1000!

We arrived at 9:30am on Monday. Advantage of staying over in Capri is sitting at the counter at the legendary Buonocore drinking the best Cappuccino we've tasted so far. No queue!

Best pastry/ gelato shop in Capri (and in Amalfi Coast)! They bake their own gelato-cones. The ice cream are delicious (loved the coffee and almond ones). The lemon or pistachio amaretto are the best I had ever eaten! It is a must-go in Capri!!

Delicious! Came here every day during my stay in Capri. Waffle cones are still warm when you receive it. There is a lineup for a reason, and it's worth the wait!
